RTS Labs

partner-rtslabsWhen a digital project gets ‘geeky’ — and these days, they tend to  — we rely on the amazing wizards at RTS Labs to support our clients’ needs’ for serious software and product development. Our partnership with RTS covers the full software development life cycle — from feasibility analysis, user experience design and prototyping, to development of scalable, winning solutions. Their approach is to “keep it simple and do what makes sense for our clients.” We at ELement 24 appreciate that sentiment, and our clients do as well.

Our design team has years of experience working with their PhD-level development team to produce the very best results you could ask for.  If your project requires more than the creative development and business strategy that Element 24 provides and gets us into the geek category, we will gladly bring in the RTS team. Check them out: www.rtslabs.com

partner-tewellFor high-end print projects that require a full-service print shop, Element 24 has teamed with Denver-based Tewell Warren. Their extensive print knowledge and capabilities allow us to print everything from a short digital run to an elaborate, full-color, hand-assembled brochure or advertising collateral system. We certainly appreciate their dedication to delivering high-quality printing at an affordable price, as well as their passion for putting ink on paper and the quality of care we put into every project – each step of the way. An amazing artist with a lens, Nick is capable of most any project we throw at him – from corporate headshots, landscapes, architecture, product photography, etc. Nick travels the world shooting for high-profile clients, and we are lucky to be able to access such talent and offer it to our clients when the project requires it. Wordpress

partner-wordpressWordPress is Element 24’s preferred website platform. We build a majority of our sites using WordPress, and highly suggest it for most clients. Over 60 million people and businesses have chosen WordPress as their platform worldwide. The basic application allows Element 24’s designers and developers to imagine and build almost anything we can imagine on behalf of our clients. Once built, it is very easy for our clients to administer basic editing of their own sites.

SquareSpace

partner-ssElement 24 has been building SquareSpace-based websites since 2007. It is a wildly different approach to website building, and allows our team to design and launch a website in a matter of a few days to a week or so, for beautiful and elegant websites. The power of SquareSpace lies in its user-friendliness. While it won’t allow us to build a fully-custom, fully-branded experience for our clients, there are a few clients where it makes sense. Small mom-and-pops, individual freelancers, bloggers, etc. enjoy it for its ease of use. If you desire a semi-custom website with ultra-simple editing controls, then talk to our team about the possibility of using SquareSpace.

Lost Coffee

partner-lostcoffeeWe couldn’t have a ‘partner’ list without mentioning Lost Coffee. It is quite simply the fuel that drives us every day. Lost Coffee’s Castle Rock locations are also a unique and wonderful environment to work in, and a great place to meet clients. Our Denver and Colorado Springs clients have most likely enjoyed a cup of their brew with us in Castle Rock more than once. Thank you to John Paulsen and his team for treating Element 24 so well over the years! Check them out online, and in person if you are in town: www.lostcoffee.com

Stacy Farmer

team-stacy2As the wife of co-founder Dave Farmer, Stacy realized early on that there was a serious need at Element 24 for someone with organization, planning, scheduling and time management skills. She won’t say whether this insight was based on her personal experiences with her dear husband. Regardless, she is appreciated not only for her ability to keep us on track with clients and as an operation, but also for her unabashed opinions towards early drafts of the creative team’s work (more than a few times, she has brought our egos down to earth in a hurry – and our clients can thank her for pushing us to be better).

In her “spare” time, she manages client relations for a healthcare startup, enjoys being a mom to 3, loves the outdoors, and most days would rather be in an art museum in Paris.

Alaina Beecher

team-alainaAlaina is Element 24’s accountant and bookkeeper. Without her, our creative team simply would never get paid, forgetting to send invoices and properly submit our hours in a timely manner. She is going prematurely gray thanks to her work with the rest of us, but we love her dearly.

Kieran Sellers

team-kieranKieran specializes in producing modern, dynamic websites on platforms such as WordPress, SquareSpace, Drupal, Joomla, and even completely custom-coded websites.  Kieran enjoys solving complex problems that make things work in specific ways, to the delight of our clients.  Kieran is particularly adept at listening to client needs and guiding them to a final site that appropriately reflects the client’s business.

Recently Kieran has been expanding his creative design skills from the online world and into brand strategy and design, including print design, advertising and logos.

Hannah Wallace

team-hannahHannah has over a decade of in-depth web development experience, with a focus on WordPress, PHP development and Javascript. Hannah helps our clients quickly realize the benefits of the latest web and digital technologies by rapidly developing and implementing online sites and applying current best-practices. She is instrumental in the successful launch of all client sites, from concept stage through to development and beyond.

Whitner Carlin

team-whitnerWhitner joined Element 24 in early 2011 as Senior Designer, with a focus on brand design, web design, and client management. Client’s have come to appreciate Whitner’s unique background in both Studio Art/Design and Economics, which allows her to align her creative talents with a focus on our clients’ distinct business needs. Whitner’s variety of design experiences have strengthened her ability to enhance our clients’ brand identity. Through the integration of business and art, she solves problems that help businesses move forward in our rapidly changing world. Prior to joining Element 24, Whitner attended the University of Virginia and worked in New York on Ralph Lauren’s Women’s Black Label Design team.

Mike Howard

team-mhA Copywriter/Creative Director by trade, Mike has worked for some of the most successful and acclaimed agencies in the country, including Adweek’s Small Agency of The Decade (2000’s), Butler Shine Stern + Partners, and Ad Age’s Agency of The Decade (2000’s), Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he worked under Ad Age’s Creative Director of the Decade, and longtime friend, Alex Bogusky, with whom he still partners on projects quite frequently.

Mike’s worked on national and global campaigns for brands in myriad business categories. He spent three years as the co-creative director for the New Balance global brand, he helped launch the Volvo S60 and V60 globally, as well as the Volkswagen GTI MKV for which he and his team won a Cannes Grand Prix in 2005 . He’s worked on both the Miller Lite and Miller High Life brands. He’s created campaigns to launch products for Burger King domestically as well as in Spain and Germany. He’s also worked with Al Gore on his Climate Reality Project, and spent his first five or six years in advertising working on the “truth” anti-tobacco campaign for the American Legacy Foundation in Washington, D.C. – a campaign that’s been widely lauded both creatively and among the public health community as a major contributor to declining rates of teen smoking in
America.

Jonathan Guttell

team-jg-cAs a paperboy at age 12, Jonathan learned a critical lesson that he has carried with him ever since: by being curious and attentive to a customer’s pain points and relentlessly working to overcome them, you can create amazing experiences for people and build true loyalty.

He used this insight over the last 20 years in the tech industry where he has brought an intense customer focus to every position he has held. He has deep cross-functional experience including Product, Brand, PR and Communications, Account Management, and Retail Marketing across the entire product life cycle. Whether products were award-winning and successful around the world or were experiments that didn’t work out, Jonathan built expertise in launching and growing products as experiences.

“Be Better” is Jonathan’s mantra. He uses it every day in everything he does and you will often see #bebetter in his social posts. He prides himself with having an attitude that every day is an opportunity to do something better than you did yesterday and he surrounds himself with people who share this view.
